Habitat for Humanity’s International Women Build Week is an annual weeklong event created by Habitat’s Women Build program in partnership with Lowe’s.

This year the event is March 8-15, which starts on International Women’s Day.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Habitat for Humanity’s top priority is the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, partners, and the people we serve. That’s why Habitat will not be hosting in-person volunteer builds for International Women Build Week 2021.

However, more than 300 Habitat locations in the U.S., Canada, and India are organizing ways to get involved virtually so you can support our mission to raise awareness of the challenges women face in accessing safe, affordable housing.

Engage with us on social media all week as we honor and celebrate the women of Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut. Also, join us for this month’s series “Mondays in March” as we celebrate Women’s History Month.
