Curious about where Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut builds?
We serve the entire eastern region of Connecticut, including all of New London and Windham counties, as well as six towns in Tolland county. Check out our service area map for a list of towns.
Each year we have multiple building projects going on at the same time. The areas we build are determined by need as well as by land acquisition. We plan far in advance so we can be as efficient as possible financially as well as with our staff, volunteers, and resources.
We have a library of images for each current build on our Construction Updates page. Check it out and see what a modest, efficient Habitat home looks like as it is built from the ground up to the roof and everything in between.
It takes thousands of hours over many seasons to build a Habitat home. We rely on the dedication and donation of time, talent and resources by our donors, partners, volunteers, staff, and Future Homeowners themselves to build a home. If you’re curious about what volunteering for Habitat looks like, check out our Volunteer Opportunities page. If it piques your interest, contact us today and explore the many options available for getting involved with Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut.
You’ll be amazed at what we can build, together.
